The short answer
FundedNext sells CFD and futures evaluations, but its terms reach further than its prices suggest. The general terms behind the Stellar 2-Step, 1-Step and Lite restrict public criticism, including on review sites, and can treat the firm’s own audit findings and breach decisions as confidential. On those routes, a reward can be withheld or reversed before it is paid. Once funded on Stellar 2-Step, 1-Step or Lite, only 40% of news-window profit counts; across the funded CFD routes open risk is capped at 3%, and quick trades under 30 seconds can cost you. Every Flex, Legacy and Rapid futures fee is non-refundable.
How it works
FundedNext’s CFD accounts are called Stellar. The table shows each route’s rules; futures follow below.
| Stellar route | Before funding | Profit target | Daily loss | Maximum loss | Minimum days |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| 2-Step | 2 phases | 8%, then 5% | 5% | 10%, static | 5 per phase |
| 1-Step | 1 phase | 10% | 3% | 6%, static | 2 |
| Lite | 2 phases | 8%, then 4% | 4% | 8%, static | 5 per phase |
| Instant | None | None | None | 6%, trailing | None |
- Stellar limits are set as a percentage of the starting balance. The checkout does not say whether they are watched on equity or on closing balance. Stellar Instant is the exception worth reading twice: its Instant Account Terms require account equity never to fall below 94% of the initial balance, yet the firm labels the same limit a 6% Maximum Trailing Drawdown.
- Futures options include Rapid Pro, Rapid Daily, Legacy and Flex, from $25,000 to $150,000, each for a one-time fee with no monthly charge.
- Futures drawdown trails the end-of-day high and stops trailing at the starting balance on Legacy, or $100 above it on Flex. Flex and Legacy carry no daily loss limit, and Rapid Pro has none by default; where one does apply, hitting it pauses trading for the rest of the day rather than ending the account.
- Legacy and Flex challenges have a 40% consistency rule: a bigger day raises the target instead of failing you.
Here is what a $50,000 Rapid Pro futures account asks. The target is $3,000, the end-of-day loss limit is $2,000 and trails your end-of-day high, and you may hold up to 4 minis or 40 micros at a time. There is no daily loss limit unless you take the discounted one at purchase.
The consistency rule runs the other way on Rapid Pro. It has none during the challenge and applies a 40% rule once funded, alongside a $500 minimum profit in each cycle before you can ask for a reward. On Legacy, the contract limit rises when you are funded: from 2 to 3 minis at $25,000, 3 to 5 at $50,000, and 5 to 7 at $100,000.
What it costs
Prices for each route and size are in the price box on this page. Four things the box cannot show:
- Extras add up on CFDs: swap-free adds 10% of the fee, cTrader or Match-Trader adds $25 outside the U.S., and on the Stellar 2-Step expert advisor permission costs $30, or $60 bundled with a VPS, on MetaTrader accounts under $50,000.
- Rapid Pro sells a rule as a discount: accepting a daily loss limit for the life of the account takes $20 to $50 off, chosen at purchase only.
- Refunds: on CFDs, only within 7 days and before any trading, and never the $25 platform fee. On Flex, Legacy and Rapid futures accounts, no refunds at all. On the Stellar 2-Step, 1-Step and Lite, a card chargeback raised before going to support can cost $25 per disputed payment plus the firm’s costs.
- The fee can be claimed back with the first reward on the 2-Step and the third on the 1-Step and Lite.
FundedNext also runs a free CFD trial that asks for no payment (FundedNext’s free trial rules explain the requirements), so a discount code has nothing to take off it; codes only matter on the paid accounts. It is a one-step test with its own rules: a 5% profit target within 14 calendar days of your first trade, at least 3 trading days, a 5% daily and 10% maximum loss limit, no expert advisors and no reset, on sizes from $6,000 to $200,000. Reaching the 5% target generates a code for 5% off the firm’s CFD plans, for new users only and valid for 14 days.
Platforms and trading conditions
Which platforms you can pick depends on the route, the account size and where you live. The table shows what the checkout sells on each route.
| Route | Platforms | Platform fee |
|---|---|---|
| Stellar 2-Step, 1-Step and Lite | MetaTrader 4, MetaTrader 5, cTrader or Match-Trader | $25 one time for cTrader or Match-Trader |
| Stellar Instant | MetaTrader 4 or MetaTrader 5 | None |
| Every CFD route, U.S. clients | Match-Trader only | None |
| Futures Flex, Legacy and Rapid | Tradovate, NinjaTrader or TradingView, all connected through Tradovate | None |
Outside the U.S., cTrader and Match-Trader are sold only on accounts up to $50,000, and the larger sizes come on MetaTrader alone. Choose carefully on CFDs: the platform locks once you place your first trade. TradingView on a CFD account is for charts only. On futures, the challenge fee covers standard market data, but Level 2 order book data, and exchange data fees once you trade live, are bought from Tradovate.
- Overnight and weekend holds are allowed on CFD accounts, with swaps on standard accounts. Flex, Legacy and Rapid futures positions cannot be held overnight or over the weekend.
- Futures carry no news trading rule, in the challenge or once funded. On CFDs a news rule applies once funded, below.
- Expert advisors are allowed on CFDs with the add-on, on MetaTrader 4 or MetaTrader 5 accounts under $50,000 only. On CFDs, copy trading is allowed only between FundedNext challenge accounts you own, within a $300,000 combined limit, with one account named as the master, and never on a funded account.
- Futures ban trading within 2% of a CME price limit.
The rules that matter
FundedNext’s trading limits are clear. Three rules on funded CFD accounts, and two clauses in its terms, matter more.
News profit counts at 40%
On a funded Stellar 2-Step, 1-Step or Lite account, trades opened or closed within 5 minutes either side of a listed high-impact release count only 40% of their profit toward your balance. Losses count in full. The challenge phase has no news rule.
Risk capped at 3%, and no quick strikes
Once funded, your total open risk, measured by stop losses or floating losses, may not exceed 3% of the starting balance at any time. Trades closed within 30 seconds are Quick Strikes, and if they make up 30% or more of a cycle’s profit, that is a violation.
What the Stellar routes ask on a $100,000 account
The 2-Step asks $8,000, then $5,000, against $10,000 of room and a $5,000 daily limit. The 1-Step asks $10,000 against only $6,000 of room and a $3,000 daily limit. Lite sits between them, asking $8,000 then $4,000 against $8,000 of room and a $4,000 daily limit. Stellar Instant is not sold at this size at all: its ladder runs $2,000, $5,000, $10,000 and $20,000.
The terms can change under a challenge you have already bought
Section 22 of the general terms lets FundedNext rewrite the Terms, the Policies, the Trading Rules and the program parameters at its own discretion, and treats carrying on using the service as your acceptance. The Futures and Instant terms allow changes under their own Section 9, with continued use after notice treated as acceptance. On a CFD challenge already running, the CFD Challenge Terms allow a retroactive change only where it is needed to protect platform integrity or meet legal or operational requirements:
“22.1. The Provider may, at any time and at its reasonable discretion, modify, update, supplement or replace these Terms, Policies, Trading Rules, Programme Parameters and other contractual documents … 22.4. Unless mandatory applicable law requires a different form of consent, continued use of the Website and/or Services after the effective date of the amendments shall constitute full and binding acceptance of the updated version of these Terms. 22.5. If the User does not agree with the implemented amendments, they must immediately cease using the Services and may request termination of their Account. Termination alone shall not create any automatic right to refund, compensation or Performance Reward payment, unless expressly provided in an applicable specific policy or required by mandatory law. 22.6. The User acknowledges that certain amendments may take immediate effect without prior notice where necessary to comply with legal requirements, orders of competent authorities, compliance requirements, protection of programme integrity, or prevention of fraud and operational risks.”
Section 20 sits beside it. It lets the firm suspend, restrict or end your access on a reputational or operational risk it judges for itself, with or without notice, and 20.4 lists what a trader may lose when a suspension or termination follows a breach or prohibited conduct. Ending the account from your side is a separate clause, 20.5, and termination does not itself create a right to a refund:
“20.2. The Provider may, at any time, suspend, limit, restrict, place under review, or terminate the User’s access to the Services, in whole or in part, with or without prior notice, where there is: … (g) any circumstance that, in the Provider’s reasonable discretion, represents a material compliance, reputational, operational, technical or financial risk to the Provider, to the integrity of the programme, or to essential third parties. 20.3. The User acknowledges and agrees that, in the circumstances above, the Provider may: … (c) withhold any Performance Reward, benefit, migration to Funded Stage, reset, extension or any related processing, until the investigation is concluded; and (d) invalidate operations, remove results and recalculate metrics where necessary to preserve programme integrity and compliance with applicable rules. 20.4. In the event of suspension/termination arising from breach of these Terms or Prohibited Conduct, the User may: (a) immediately lose access to the Website/Services and the Account; (b) have operations and/or results disregarded, removed or recalculated; (c) lose eligibility for Funded Stage, Performance Reward, benefits, discounts, resets, extensions and any conditional amounts or advantages.”
Two clauses on what you can say
Section 24 of the terms bars “disparagement” of FundedNext, naming review platforms, including claims that it does not pay unless you can show a verifiable factual basis. Section 16.5 says its pass and fail decisions, audit findings and breach decisions may be confidential information, and bars you from publishing or screenshotting that information, except to your own lawyers or where the law requires the disclosure. Together, the evidence a trader would need for a public complaint may be evidence they are not allowed to publish.
Section 24 sets the reach of the first. It names review platforms, support tickets and e-mails, and it treats an accusation that the firm does not pay as prohibited unless you can show a verifiable factual basis:
“24.1. The User undertakes not to engage, directly or indirectly, in any acts of defamation, discrediting, disparagement, reputational attack or negative propaganda against the Provider, its Affiliates, its officers, employees, partners, service providers or suppliers (including, without limitation, Payment Processors, technology providers and liquidity providers), by any means, including social media, forums, online communities, messaging applications, review platforms, support tickets, e-mails, websites, media or communications to third parties (“Prohibited Statements”). 24.2. For the purposes of this clause, Prohibited Statements shall include, without limitation: (a) false or misleading allegations; (b) accusations of fraud, scam, “does not pay”, “theft”, “manipulation” or similar terms without verifiable factual basis; (c) dissemination of content out of context with the intent to cause reputational harm; (d) incitement to “mass reports”, “review bombing”, coordinated campaigns or harassment of employees; (e) contacting or communicating with Third Parties (including PSPs and social media platforms) with the predominant purpose of harming, exerting improper pressure, disrupting operations, causing blocks/bans or degrading the commercial reputation of the Provider.”
Section 16.5 closes the other end, over the firm’s own decisions and the correspondence about them:
“16.5. The User acknowledges that the Provider’s evaluation methodology, Trading Rules, parameters, risk controls, monitoring tools, scoring and ranking logic, pass/fail criteria, account reviews, audit findings, enforcement actions, and any related communications (including emails, notices, support tickets, internal remarks, warnings, breach reports, and decisions on eligibility, suspension, termination and/or Performance Rewards) may constitute confidential information and/or trade secrets of the Provider (the “Confidential Information”). The User shall keep the Confidential Information strictly confidential and shall not, directly or indirectly, publish, disclose, distribute, reproduce, paraphrase, summarise, screenshot, record, stream, or otherwise make available any Confidential Information to any third party or on any public channel (including social media, forums, review sites, messaging apps, X, Facebook, Tiktok, Instagram, Discord/Telegram servers, and similar platforms), except (i) to the User’s legal advisers on a strict need-to-know basis and under confidentiality, or (ii) where disclosure is required by applicable law or a competent authority, provided that (to the extent legally permitted) the User gives the Provider prompt prior written notice and reasonably cooperates to seek protective measures … 16.5.1. The obligations under this Clause 16.5 shall survive termination, expiry, or any suspension of these Terms and/or the Account and shall remain in full force and effect thereafter for as long as the Confidential Information remains confidential, subject to applicable law.”
What FundedNext says
Getting paid
FundedNext’s payout rules differ by route. The table shows the main ones.
| Route | Split | When you can ask |
|---|---|---|
| Stellar 2-Step | 80%, rising to 90% | First after 21 days, then every 14 |
| Stellar Lite | 80%, rising to 90% | Every 10 days on accounts bought or reset from 12 October 2026; first after 21 days, then every 14, on older ones |
| Stellar 1-Step | 80%, rising to 90% | Every 5 business days |
| Stellar Instant | 70%, then 80% from Tier 3 | At 5% growth, or every 14 days above 1% |
| Futures Rapid Pro and Daily | 90% | Every 3 days, or daily; five rewards, then the account ends |
| Futures Legacy | 80% | After 5 benchmark days |
| Futures Flex | 95% | After 5 benchmark days |
- A reward can be held back before it is paid. On the Stellar 2-Step, 1-Step and Lite, section 12.6 lets FundedNext review, withhold, deny or reverse it before payment, on grounds it decides.
- CFD rewards under $20 roll into the next cycle, and crypto payouts run up to $1,999. FundedNext promises processing within 24 hours or $1,000 extra, except on bank transfers.
- Flex, Legacy and Rapid futures rewards start at $250, carry a processing fee of up to 3.5%, and each request is capped by account size. Flex and Legacy also pay at most half your accumulated profit per request; on Legacy, both limits lift after 30 benchmark days.
- Futures live trading depends on selection by FundedNext’s risk team.
Requests on its funded futures accounts are capped by account size. Flex pays at most $1,500 on $50,000, $2,500 on $100,000 and $4,000 on $150,000. Legacy pays at most $3,000 on $25,000 and $6,000 on both $50,000 and $100,000, and both that cap and the half-profit limit lift after 30 benchmark days. Rapid Pro pays at most $800, $1,200 and $2,500 on $25,000, $50,000 and $100,000. A $100,000 Legacy trader with $10,000 of accumulated profit can request half of it, $5,000, which sits under the $6,000 cap.
What can end your account
These rules can end a FundedNext account. Each comes from FundedNext’s own help centers and terms:
- Touching the daily or maximum loss limit on CFDs, or the trailing limit on futures.
- 30 days without a trade, on funded CFD accounts and on Flex, Legacy and Rapid futures accounts.
- Gambling, grid trading, arbitrage, tick scalping or copying other people’s trades.
- Breaking the 3% risk limit or the Quick Strike threshold on a funded CFD account.
- Termination on FundedNext’s own view of risk to itself, under section 20.2 of the terms that govern the Stellar 2-Step, 1-Step and Lite, with or without notice.
Who can join
FundedNext publishes separate country lists for CFDs and futures, and they differ:
- CFD, excluded: residents and citizens of Bangladesh, Myanmar, Belarus, North Korea, Syria, Malaysia, Vietnam, Sri Lanka and 12 smaller countries and territories.
- Futures, excluded: a longer list, adding Russia, Iran and much of Africa.
- Futures live trading may not be offered in some countries, and the risk desk reviews those cases.
Who you are dealing with
FundedNext’s terms name a UAE company as the contracting party. Which law and which forum you get depends on what you bought: the CFDs Challenge Terms pull the general Terms of Service in by reference, while the Futures Challenge Terms and the Instant Account Terms each close with their own entire-agreement clause and stand alone. The table shows what those documents state.
| Detail | What FundedNext’s documents state |
|---|---|
| Contracting party | GrowthNext F.Z.E., Ajman Free Zone, UAE |
| Named in the site footer as executing trades | FundedNext Ltd, Comoros |
| Governing law, Stellar 2-Step, 1-Step and Lite | Ajman and UAE federal law |
| Disputes, Stellar 2-Step, 1-Step and Lite | Arbitration at DIAC in Dubai, with a class-action waiver |
| Governing law, futures and Instant | Clause 7 of each document names the United Arab Emirates and nothing further: no emirate, no arbitration forum, no seat and no class-action waiver |
| Co-founders | Abdullah Jayed and Abdullah Galib |
- The US-titled terms follow the same UAE law and Dubai arbitration.
- Claims must start within six months of the event on the Stellar 2-Step, 1-Step and Lite.
- A $25,000 penalty applies to each breach of the prohibited trading rules under the CFD Challenge Terms, and can be counted per trade, account or pattern.
- FNmarkets is a separate brokerage in the same group, and using it is optional.
Its Trustpilot profile scored 4.5 across 77,194 reviews on 27 August 2026, with 82% at five stars against 7% at one. Reviews at that volume say how customers feel, not whether payouts clear.
Why this grade
Cheap futures help FundedNext, but a fixed $25,000 penalty per prohibited trading practice on CFDs caps its letter below what the score earns, and the 2-Step, 1-Step and Lite terms restrict what you may publish. Payouts and support are unscored.
| Part and score | The reason |
|---|---|
| Rule fairness (20% of the grade) 46/100 · Weak | A fixed $25,000 penalty per prohibited trading practice on CFDs, attempts included, can come out of your rewards and caps the grade; on the 2-Step, 1-Step and Lite the firm can also withhold a reward on its own view of risk. |
| Trading conditions (20% of the grade) 74/100 · Good | Most CFD routes fix the maximum loss to the starting balance and skip a consistency rule on the standard payout option; futures lose ground on a loss limit that trails your end-of-day high and, on Flex, Legacy and Rapid, no overnight holds. |
| Company trust (15% of the grade) 65/100 · Fair | On the 2-Step, 1-Step and Lite, public criticism is restricted, the firm's decisions may be kept confidential and claims cannot be joined without its written agreement, and the terms and site footer name different companies. |
| Challenge value (15% of the grade) 89/100 · Strong | A $100,000 Flex futures challenge at $129.99 with the code on your first two accounts works out at $1.30 per $1,000, and on CFDs a $200,000 Stellar Lite at $798.99 comes to $3.99 per $1,000. |
| Payout reliability (25% of the grade) Not scored | FundedNext promises to process CFD rewards within 24 hours or add $1,000, except on bank transfers, but no reward has been followed to the bank and no independent payout record is held, so this factor is left out. |
| Support (5% of the grade) Not scored | No support test has been run on FundedNext or any other firm, so how quickly its desk answers, and how well, is not scored. |

Our verdict
FundedNext offers a broad catalog with fast futures payouts, but on its Stellar challenges its terms let it withhold rewards until paid, change the rules, and restrict what traders say publicly.
Best for
- Futures traders who want frequent payouts and a one-time fee.
- CFD traders who hold positions over weekends.
- Traders who compare routes on target against room, not on price alone.
Avoid if
- You trade high-impact news on a funded Stellar 2-Step, 1-Step or Lite account.
- You rely on public reviews, given what the terms let traders publish.
- You want a refund option on a Flex, Legacy or Rapid futures account.
