The short answer

HyroTrader is a crypto prop firm. You trade USDT-margined crypto futures on Bybit through your own account, on Tealstreet, or on its own Cleo platform, in a One Step or Two Step challenge from $5,000 to $200,000. A Two Step costs $59 to $969 and a One Step $69 to $1,299, and you get that money back with your first payout.

The One Step allows a 4% daily loss and 6% in total; the Two Step allows 5% and 10%. The daily limit follows the highest equity you reach that day, open profit included, unless you pay $29 to $419 for the Swing upgrade. No single day can make up more than 40% of your profit in the challenge, and there is no time limit. The box at the top shows the $5,000 One Step.

It suits crypto traders who already use Bybit or run API bots, and who want the challenge price back when they succeed. Once funded you keep 80%, rising to 90% over 16 months, and you can ask for a payout from your first funded trade.

Two things work against you. The daily limit can end an account on a day that is still in profit, because it trails your intraday high. And a single payout is capped at 5%, with profit above that not paid if you leave it in, so you have to withdraw often.

How it works

HyroTrader sells a One Step and a Two Step challenge at $5,000 to $200,000, with no time limit. The table shows the rules for each.

One StepTwo Step
Profit target10%10%, then 5%
Daily loss4%5%
Maximum loss6%10%
Minimum trading days55 in each phase
ConsistencyNo day over 40% of profitNo day over 40% of profit
Stop loss requiredNoNo
  • The daily loss limit trails the highest equity reached that day, including open profit. The paid Swing upgrade fixes it to the day’s starting equity instead.
  • A trading day only counts toward the minimum if you close a trade worth at least 5% of the starting balance with a final P&L of at least 1% of the trade’s value, up or down.
  • Profit above the 40% limit on one day is not counted toward the target.
  • Passing is not automatic. You ask HyroTrader for a review, which the firm says typically takes 1 to 2 business days.
  • You trade on Bybit through your own account, on Tealstreet, or on Cleo.

How much does HyroTrader cost?

You pay once per account, and the price comes back with your first payout. The table gives the list price by size for each challenge, next to the optional Swing upgrade, which fixes the daily limit to the day’s starting equity and is priced by size and plan:

AccountTwo Step depositTwo Step SwingOne Step depositOne Step Swing
$5,000$59$29$69$39
$10,000$119$49$129$59
$25,000$249$89$299$119
$50,000$379$119$499$169
$100,000$579$179$749$229
$200,000$969$299$1,299$419

The Swing upgrade adds roughly half the price on a $5,000 account ($29 on $59 for a Two Step, $39 on $69 for a One Step) and about a third from $50,000 up. With it, a $100,000 Two Step costs $758 and a $100,000 One Step $978. HyroTrader says you can add it at checkout or when you set up a new challenge, but not once the challenge is running.

Three more things the table cannot show:

  • The deposit comes back with your first payout, as a separate crypto payment, or if you cancel before activating the challenge.
  • It does not come back if you fail, and HyroTrader offers no discount on a new attempt.
  • The deposit is not held in trust or escrow. A refund owed to you is an unsecured claim against the company.

You can pay by card or in cryptocurrency, including BTC, ETH, USDT and USDC.

Free trial

HyroTrader also runs a free trial that asks for no credit card or billing details: a demo challenge on up to $200,000 of simulated capital, built on the same structure of profit targets, drawdown limits and risk rules as the paid evaluation, with one active at a time. Passing it does not automatically qualify you for a funded account, and trial profits are never paid out.

Platforms and trading conditions

HyroTrader offers three routes, all trading USDT-margined crypto futures on simulated accounts.

  • Bybit: connect your own Bybit account by API. More than 700 pairs, leverage up to 100x.
  • Tealstreet: a terminal on Bybit data, with no country restrictions.
  • Cleo: HyroTrader’s own platform on Binance data, running a B-book. More than 400 pairs, 10x by default and up to 100x.
  • Overnight and weekend holds are allowed, and trading bots connected by API are permitted.
  • Not allowed: spot trading, options, USDC pairs, EUR/USD, and changing the Bybit API key or balance.

The rules that matter

Two limits can end a HyroTrader account: the daily loss limit and the maximum loss. The 40% rule and the trading-day rule decide how fast you pass. The rest are limits on single trades and exposure.

How the drawdown works on a $100,000 Two Step

The daily limit is 5% of the starting balance, so $5,000, measured on equity including open trades. It trails the highest equity you reach that day and resets each day on UTC time.

  • You start the day at $100,000. Your floor is $95,000.
  • An open trade takes you to $103,000. Your floor moves up to $98,000.
  • The trade falls back to $98,000 before you close it. That breaks the daily limit, even though the day is still $2,000 down from where it started, not $5,000.
  • With the Swing upgrade the floor stays at $95,000 all day, because it is fixed to the day’s starting equity.

The maximum loss is 10%, so the account cannot fall below $90,000 in equity. HyroTrader does not say whether that floor moves up during the challenge. Once funded, the Account Agreement sets it as a percentage of your starting capital (clauses 5.2.2 and 16.1.3), so it stays at $90,000 and does not rise as the account grows. On a $100,000 One Step the limits are $4,000 a day and $6,000 in total.

The 40% rule

In the challenge, no single day can be more than 40% of your total net result. Going over is not a breach, but the profit above 40% does not count toward the target, so a big day can leave you needing more profit on other days before you can pass. The rule does not apply once funded.

When a trading day counts

You need 5 trading days to pass, in each phase of the Two Step. A day counts only if you close a trade worth at least 5% of the starting balance whose final P&L is at least 1% of the trade’s value, up or down. HyroTrader’s own example: a $12,000 trade that makes $80 has a final P&L of 0.66%, short of the $120 it needs, so that day does not count.

A day that does not count is not a breach, and its profit still counts toward your target. HyroTrader’s pages disagree on which day counts when you hold a trade overnight: the Trading Rules say the day you open it, the FAQ says the day you close it.

No losing trade over 3%

A single position closed at a loss of more than 3% of the starting balance breaks the rules, even if you are inside the daily and total limits. HyroTrader checks this by hand, so you may not be told at once.

Low-cap coins and unrealistic fills

You cannot put more than 5% of the starting balance, including leverage, into low-cap coins. On Bybit, trades that fill at prices the live market would not give, such as large orders with no slippage in a fast move, can have their profit cut to 40% or see you moved to a new challenge.

Funded exposure caps

Once funded, your total margin cannot exceed 25% of the starting balance, and your open positions together cannot exceed twice the starting balance.

Getting paid: how does HyroTrader pay out?

You can ask for a payout from the day of your first funded trade. The table sets out the payout terms HyroTrader publishes:

HyroTrader
First payoutFrom the day of your first funded trade
Smallest payout$100 after the split
Largest single payout5%, and profit above 5% that you leave in is not paid
Your split80% to start, rising 5% every four months to 90% at 16 months
How oftenOn request
Paid inUSDT or USDC, with no withdrawal fee
Processing timeTypically 12 to 24 hours, the firm says

The cap is the rule to plan around. HyroTrader’s FAQ does not say what the 5% is measured against, only that profit you let build past it is lost, so it works as a deadline to withdraw, not a ceiling you can save past. Your deposit comes back with the first payout.

The split then improves slowly. HyroTrader’s scaling plan adds 5% every four months and puts 90% at 16 months, which is longer than those steps on their own would take. One more rule applies to free accounts:

  • Free accounts pay out once and then close. Giveaway, invite-a-friend and team-assigned accounts pay 80%; accounts granted as a participation benefit pay 10% or lower.

The live account

HyroTrader’s funded accounts are simulated. Its FAQ describes a route to real capital:

  • Traders who reach 15% profit with consistent performance become eligible for a funded account with real capital, on separate terms.
  • At a 15% profit payout, a trader can also become a Bybit master trader and earn fees from people copying their trades.

What can end your account

These rules can end a HyroTrader account. Each comes from HyroTrader’s own rules and FAQ:

  • Touching the daily or maximum loss limit.
  • A losing trade over 3%, found in a manual review.
  • Martingale, hedging across accounts, or trading only on news.
  • Breaking the Bybit rules: spot trades, USDC pairs, or changing the API key or balance.
  • Going over the funded margin or exposure caps.
  • 30 days without closing a trade, under the FAQ. The terms set a longer trigger, at clause 20.4: 90 days with no login and no trade, and closure then needs 14 days’ notice.

Who can join

HyroTrader’s FAQ says it does not impose country restrictions of its own, and you must be 18 or over:

  • Bybit users must follow Bybit’s own terms, which restrict some countries.
  • Tealstreet and Cleo have no country restrictions, and HyroTrader suggests Cleo where Bybit is not allowed.
  • US and UK traders can join. US disputes go to individual arbitration; others go to mediation and then the courts of Ras Al Khaimah.
  • The terms themselves carry a restricted list. They bar signup from 23 countries and from five regions of Ukraine. The firm’s documents do not reconcile that list with the FAQ line above it.

What HyroTrader’s agreement says

The sections above cover what you trade under day to day. The documents you accept add four points worth reading before you buy: what the deposit is in law, what split and payout terms the agreement sets, whether orders reach a live market, and two clauses that protect you. We put our critical findings to HyroTrader before this review went up, and its reply is at the end of this section.

What the deposit is

Clause 7.1 and the definition of the Deposit rule out almost every description a buyer might reach for:

The Deposit is not consideration for any supply made to you. It is not a fee, price, entry fee, subscription, or purchase consideration – whether for access to the Platform, for software, for a licence, for market data, for educational content, for the assessment of your trading, for entry into or participation in the Challenge Program, or for the opportunity to obtain a reward. […] The Deposit does not create any trust, custody, escrow, safeguarding or client-money relationship between you and the Provider. […] Access to the Platform and to its simulated trading functionality is available to you separately and at no cost through the Free Trial (§7.2).

What you hold is a contractual right to have the money back in defined circumstances, ranking as an unsecured claim against a UAE free-zone company. It is not your money held on your behalf.

Clause 7.2 of the General Terms points to the trial to say the deposit buys no platform access, and the trial plays no part in our grade.

Clause 8.3 sets the circumstance, and is candid about the odds:

Where you satisfy the requirements of the Challenge Program and go on to reach the return milestone specified for your programme at the point of entry – being the return milestone applicable to the Challenge Program you selected at the time you placed the Deposit, currently your first successful payout in the Funded Trader Phase – the Deposit is returned to you in full, together with or before that payout. […] You should understand that the return milestone is conditional and that many participants do not reach it.

Pass and get paid, and the deposit comes back in full. Fail, and the whole deposit is gone. That makes the price conditional, not fixed, and it cannot be set beside a non-refundable fee as though the two were the same number.

The contract says 70%, and the advertised 90% is not in it

The sales pages offer “Up To 90% Profit Share”. The documents that bind set a different number, and put the obligation on a company the buyer never deals with:

The Funded Trader Agreement is entered into with the Funded Trader Entity – HYROTRADER TECHNOLOGIES LTD (BVI, company number 2166693) – and not with the Provider. […] The payout schedule, minimum-payout amount, currency, and payment rail applicable to your Funded Trader Phase are set out in the Funded Trader Agreement.

The Account Agreement names a different company, and a different number:

This HyroTrader Account Agreement […] governs rights and obligations in connection with the use of services provided by Hyro Finance j.s.a. […] The amount of the Reward is 70% of the Profit.

So the split in the agreement is 70%, the route from there to 90% is not set out in any document we hold, and the payout terms live in a Funded Trader Agreement a buyer does not see before paying. Three companies appear across those documents and it is not stated which one ultimately owes the reward.

The payout terms in the agreement

The agreement sets out payouts differently from the FAQ in two places:

  • The written agreement sets a different timetable. It runs a one-month reference period and a Profit Split Day the trader nominates between day 30 and day 60, and the firm’s documents do not reconcile that with the same-day request the FAQ describes.
  • The agreement has no 5% cap. Its clause 7.6 lets you take part of a reward and leave the rest in the account for the next period, and the firm’s documents do not reconcile that with the cap in the FAQ.

Nothing reaches a live market, and the contract says so

HyroTrader sells a Bybit API connection, a Tealstreet terminal and a Cleo account powered by Binance. Clauses 3.2 and 12.6 explain what those names describe:

All trading activity conducted under the Service is simulated. This applies to every phase of your participation, including the Challenge Phase, the Verification Phase and the Funded Trader Phase. No real trades are executed in live financial markets on your behalf. […] The Platform uses real-time market data feeds from live venues in order to replicate market conditions accurately. Real order-book data does not mean live execution: in the phases named above, no order you place through the Platform is executed against a live market venue.

The exchange names describe the data feed and the terminal, not the venue an order reaches. That is disclosed plainly in the contract, and it is the opposite of what the exchange branding on the sales pages suggests.

Two clauses that run in the trader’s favor

Clause 17.1 protects the right to criticize the firm, and says it outranks everything else in the document:

You may freely express your opinions about the Service, including negative reviews, criticism, complaints and accounts of your experience, on any public platform, review site or social medium. Nothing in these Terms restricts honest criticism, negative reviews, or disclosure of a dispute, and the Provider will not terminate your Account, withhold a Deposit or a reward, refuse service, or impose any other consequence because you have published an honest review or criticism. This §17.1 prevails over every other provision of these Terms.

Read its scope carefully, because the clause states it: it prevails over every other provision of these Terms. The Account Agreement is a different document, and its clause 8.3 has both sides undertake “not to damage the good reputation and legitimate interests of the other party”, with 12.5.2 treating a breach of 8.3 as a one-off gross violation that forfeits the Reward. So the protection is real and unusually clear on the evaluation side, and it does not carry across to the funded agreement.

Clauses 6.3 and 19.4 handle rule changes, and pair the protection with an exit:

Changes to Trading Rules will not be applied retroactively to Accounts that are actively enrolled in a Challenge, Verification, or Funded Trader Phase at the time of the change, unless (a) the change is required by Applicable Law, or (b) the change is necessary for the Provider to prevent fraud, abuse, or material harm to the Provider or other Customers. […] Where you reject a Modification, any Deposit you have placed is returned to you in full within fourteen (14) calendar days, whether or not the Challenge has been Activated, and any Activated Challenge is terminated without any result being recorded against you.

You are held to the rules in force when you paid, unless a change is required by law or is needed to prevent fraud, abuse or material harm. An amendment you dislike is an exit with your money back and no failure recorded, not a term imposed on you mid-evaluation.

What HyroTrader says

Right of reply: answered. This review reports critical findings drawn from HyroTrader’s own documents. The firm was contacted before publishing and replied. Its reply is quoted below in the firm’s own words, with one passage about this site left out. It answered on two of the three findings and disputed the third.

We put our findings to HyroTrader before publishing. It replied, confirming that its standard funded environment is simulated, that selected traders may be offered real capital under separate terms, and that the split starts at 80% and can rise to 90%. It disputed our third finding, said nothing in its reply agrees with our conclusions, and said it is restructuring, with some documents expected to be replaced.

We acknowledge receipt of your email.

For the avoidance of doubt, we provide the following limited clarifications:

HyroTrader’s standard challenge and funded trading environment is simulated and uses real market data. Selected funded traders demonstrating qualifying performance, including traders achieving 15%+ profit, may be separately evaluated for allocation to real-capital trading arrangements. Such arrangements are distinct from the standard simulated funded environment and may be subject to separate contractual terms.

HyroTrader is currently undergoing a broader corporate, product and infrastructure restructuring. The currently published Terms & Conditions govern the services to which they apply during this transition. Certain historical documents, contractual arrangements and entity references may therefore differ from the structure currently being implemented.

The current standard profit split starts at 80% and may scale up to 90% subject to the applicable scaling requirements. Further information is publicly available at: https://www.hyrotrader.com/scaling-plan/

HyroTrader is presently completing a significant platform update involving its challenge programs, infrastructure, trading platforms and associated legal documentation. As a result, certain materials currently available or previously published are expected to be superseded shortly.

[A passage about PropFirmGrade was omitted.]

Accordingly, HyroTrader does not consider it appropriate or proportionate to participate in a detailed clause-by-clause review or provide additional internal corporate or contractual information to an unpublished third-party review project at this time.

Nothing in this correspondence should be construed as confirmation of, or agreement with, the characterisations, conclusions or legal interpretations contained in your email.

Who you are dealing with

HyroTrader’s terms name several companies, and its documents do not all agree. The table shows what the current terms state.

CompanyRoleWhere
HYRO TECHNOLOGIES FZ-LLCThe company you contract withRas Al Khaimah, UAE
HYROTRADER TECHNOLOGIES LTDOwns the platform and takes on the funded stageBritish Virgin Islands
Hyro Finance, j. s. a.Takes card payments in Europe and the UKSlovakia

Clauses P.1 and P.3 name the counterparty and then say the European link is temporary:

‘HyroTrader’ is a brand under which the Service is provided by HYRO TECHNOLOGIES FZ-LLC (the ‘Provider’, ‘Company’, ‘we’, ‘our’ or ‘us’), a Free Zone Limited Liability Company incorporated in the Ras Al Khaimah Economic Zone (RAKEZ), United Arab Emirates, with company number FDBC5283, commercial licence number 47034334 […] This arrangement is transitional. The EEA Commercial Agent is expected to be withdrawn from the structure once the Provider is able to accept card payments directly in its own name.

A European buyer may see a Slovak company on their card statement, but the company they contract with is in Ras Al Khaimah. EU consumer protection reaches them through the mandatory law of where they live, not through an EU counterparty, and the contract says that link is on its way out.

  • Its terms say no order reaches a live market at any stage, including the funded stage.
  • The Account Agreement names the Slovak company as owing payouts, under Slovak law, and sets a 70% split. HyroTrader told us it is the current funded-account agreement. It is published, on the page headed Challenge Terms, and dated 31 March 2026. Two governing agreements are live at once and neither says which one wins.
  • The terms protect honest criticism, freeze the rules for an active challenge, and let a trader who fails ask for the records behind the decision.

Why this grade

What costs HyroTrader points is in its documents:

  • The split in the agreement is 70%. The site advertises up to 90% and the FAQ says 80%, but the documents do not show how 90% is reached or which HyroTrader company owes the payout.
  • You contract with a free-zone company in Ras Al Khaimah, not the Slovak company that may appear on your card statement, and the contract says the European link is temporary.
  • The pass-or-fail numbers are not in the contract. Targets, loss limits and trading days sit on a separate Trading Rules page. A change does not reach a challenge already running, unless the law requires it or it is needed to stop fraud, abuse or material harm.
  • Disputes run on UAE terms. The law is that of Ras Al Khaimah, and traders outside the US end up in its courts unless their home consumer law gives them another route. US traders go to arbitration in New York, and class and mass actions are waived as far as the law allows.
  • Two smaller clauses. Going to your bank for a chargeback before contacting HyroTrader is a breach, and a testimonial you give can be used forever, while your trading data belongs to the firm.
  • The contract calls your payment a deposit, not a fee. It is not held in trust, so a refund owed to you is an ordinary debt, and you lose all of it if you fail.
  • Every stage is simulated, the funded stage included, while the sales pages lead with the Bybit, Tealstreet and Binance names.

Three things matter more on a normal trading day, and none of them moves the letter, because the grade leaves rule settings and add-ons to your own fit:

  • The daily limit trails your intraday high, so a trade that runs up and gives it back can end the account on a winning day.
  • Fixing that costs extra. The Swing upgrade adds roughly half the price on a $5,000 account and about a third from $50,000 up.
  • Each payout is capped at 5%, and profit you leave above that is not paid.

What earns points: the price for the capital, with the cheapest route, a $200,000 Two Step at $969, working out to $4.84 per $1,000, and no deductions on trading conditions, where the funded maximum loss is tied to your starting capital. Two clauses also work for you, though they add no points: the terms protect honest criticism, and they freeze the rules for a running challenge apart from those narrow exceptions.

The grade is preliminary. We have not tested HyroTrader’s payouts or its support, so 30 of the rubric’s 100 points are not scored yet.

Accurate?

Our verdict

HyroTrader is a crypto futures challenge for Bybit and API traders that hands back its price on your first payout, with a daily limit that trails your intraday high and a 5% cap on each payout.

Best for

  • Crypto futures traders who already use Bybit.
  • Traders who want their challenge cost back when they succeed.
  • Traders who use API bots within the rules.
  • Traders who do not want a deadline. Neither challenge has a time limit.

Avoid if

  • You let open trades run up and give back a lot within a day. The daily limit follows your high unless you pay for Swing.
  • You let profits run well past 5% before withdrawing.
  • You want a fixed daily limit at the lowest price. Swing adds about a third to the price from $50,000 up, and more on smaller accounts.
  • You need a stable contract, while the firm is replacing its documents.

Questions traders ask

Is this real trading?

No. Section 12.6 of the General Terms: “No order you place is routed to, or executed on, any live market venue.” Section 3.2 adds that “Real order-book data does not mean live execution.” Both apply to the challenge, verification and funded stages. Bybit, Binance and Tealstreet are data and interface relationships.

Do I get my deposit back?

In ten documented situations, yes, in full. They include your first successful payout, canceling before activation, the statutory 14-day withdrawal, rejecting an amendment, the firm terminating for convenience, and a technical disruption that cannot fairly be remedied. On failure or breach, no. The firm keeps all of it, and the contract admits the sum retained does not vary with any loss it incurred. Note the deposit is not held in trust or escrow, so a return is an unsecured claim against the UAE company.

What profit split do I actually get?

80% to start. HyroTrader’s scaling plan adds 5% every four months and puts 90% at 16 months, which is longer than those steps on their own would take. HyroTrader confirmed the 80% start in its reply to us. The Account Agreement, which HyroTrader says is the current one for a funded account and which is published on the page headed Challenge Terms, sets 70%.

Which company am I dealing with?

You contract with HYRO TECHNOLOGIES FZ-LLC in Ras Al Khaimah. The terms pass the funded stage to HYROTRADER TECHNOLOGIES LTD in the British Virgin Islands, while the Account Agreement HyroTrader says is current names a Slovak company, Hyro Finance, under Slovak law. HyroTrader says it is restructuring and replacing documents.

Can US residents join?

Yes, expressly, with disputes routed to individual arbitration rather than the Ras Al Khaimah courts.

What is the drawdown?

The One Step allows 4% a day and 6% in total; the Two Step allows 5% a day and 10% in total. The daily limit trails the highest equity reached that day, including open profit, unless you buy the Swing upgrade, which fixes it to the day’s starting equity. Once funded, the maximum loss is set against your starting capital, so it does not rise as the account grows. HyroTrader does not say whether it moves during the challenge.

How would a payout reach me?

In USDT or USDC, with no withdrawal fee. The firm says payouts are typically processed within 12 to 24 hours. You can ask from your first funded trading day once you have $100 after the split, and each payout is capped at 5%.

Account sharing 2
Two Step Challenge, One Step Challenge Evaluation · Unknown Varies

One Account per program type (4.5), credential sharing prohibited with immediate termination and forfeiture (5.1), and connected Accounts may be aggregated for any capital or exposure limit with the firm required to say so and on what basis. Clause 4.5A is unusual and fair-minded: shared cards, wallets and devices must be disclosed, but 'Shared use is not of itself a breach […] People who live or work together may legitimately share a device or a payment method.' Only deliberate concealment is a material breach.

Two Step Challenge, One Step Challenge Evaluation · Unknown Varies

KYC trigger points are now published, which they were not in the earlier Terms. Sumsub is named as the provider. Clause 11.5 requires notice and a reasonable opportunity before any account is deemed void, with 30 days to submit further documentation, and 11.6 gives 14 days to explain a discrepancy, states that a shortened or former name, a change of address or nationality, or a clerical error is not of itself material, and returns the Deposit in full where the discrepancy is that the customer was under 18.

Activation deadline
Two Step Challenge, One Step Challenge Evaluation Varies

Activation is a deliberate act, and clause 7.9 states that neither payment nor issuance of a Challenge, nor logging in, viewing the Platform or trading a Free Trial account, activates it. A Challenge stays available for six months. If it is never activated it expires, 'An expired Challenge is not a failed Challenge', and 8.1C returns the Deposit in full automatically within 14 days with no action required from the trader. Before Activation the trader may cancel for any reason or none and be returned in full with no deduction (8.1).

Consistency
Two Step Challenge, One Step Challenge Evaluation Varies

Profit Distribution Rule: in the evaluation no single day may be more than 40% of the total net result; the excess does not count toward the target.

Fee refund
Two Step Challenge, One Step Challenge Evaluation · Unknown Varies

The Deposit is returned in full on ten distinct triggers and retained on two. The firm concedes at 8.3(b)(i) that the retained amount 'does not vary by reference to any loss or cost incurred by the Provider'. Clause 21.1 confirms a returnable Deposit 'is a debt owed to you, is payable in full, and is not a liability capped or excluded' by the liability cap.

Inactivity
Two Step Challenge, One Step Challenge Evaluation · Unknown Varies

The FAQ and the General Terms state different inactivity periods and the firm has not reconciled them. The FAQ says an account is disabled once its last closed trade is more than 30 days old. The General Terms (20.4) say 90 consecutive calendar days with no login and no simulated trade allow closure on 14 days' notice by email. Separately, 20.5 retains trading data and Account logs for 12 months after a failed Challenge and commits the firm, on request, to provide 'a copy of the trade log, the parameter values applied, and the record of the determination'. That gives a trader a right to the evidence behind a failed Challenge.

Location restriction
Two Step Challenge, One Step Challenge Evaluation · Unknown Varies

VPN use is expressly permitted for privacy, and prohibited only where used to conceal or misrepresent jurisdiction or to evade law or the Terms (10.4). On detection the firm may request proof of residence with 14 days to supply it. Note 12.3: US residents are served, and 'No part of the simulated Service is withheld from you by reason of your US residence', subject to the 23 carve-out. Clause 12.1 lists the prohibited countries.

Max capital allocation
Two Step Challenge, One Step Challenge Evaluation · Funded Varies

Up to $400,000 in challenges and $200,000 funded (one article says $200,000 in all phases). Scaling can reach $1,000,000.

Max daily loss 2
Two Step Challenge Evaluation · Funded Varies

Two Step: 5% daily loss of initial capital, measured from the day's highest equity (trailing), reset at UTC. The paid Swing upgrade makes it static from the day's starting equity. The General Terms of 7 August 2026 (clause 6.1) leave every evaluation parameter to the Trading Rules the firm publishes.

One Step Challenge Evaluation · Funded Varies

One Step: 4% daily loss of initial capital, measured from the day's highest equity (trailing), reset at UTC. The paid Swing upgrade makes it static from the day's starting equity. The General Terms of 7 August 2026 (clause 6.1) leave every evaluation parameter to the Trading Rules the firm publishes.

Max overall loss 4
Two Step Challenge Funded Varies

Two Step, funded: 10% maximum loss. The drawdown is STATIC: clause 5.2.2 of the Account Agreement sets the floor at a percentage of the initial capital, so it does not follow the account up.

Two Step Challenge Evaluation Varies

Two Step, evaluation (Phase 1 and Phase 2): 10% maximum loss, measured on equity including open profit and loss. The firm does not say whether the floor stays fixed at the starting balance or moves up with the account. The General Terms of 7 August 2026 (clause 6.1) leave every evaluation parameter to the Trading Rules the firm publishes.

One Step Challenge Funded Varies

One Step, funded: 6% maximum loss. The drawdown is STATIC: clause 5.2.2 of the Account Agreement sets the floor at a percentage of the initial capital, so it does not follow the account up.

One Step Challenge Evaluation Varies

One Step, evaluation: 6% maximum loss, measured on equity including open profit and loss. The firm does not say whether the floor stays fixed at the starting balance or moves up with the account. The General Terms of 7 August 2026 (clause 6.1) leave every evaluation parameter to the Trading Rules the firm publishes.

Minimum trading days 2
Two Step Challenge Evaluation Varies

Two Step: 5 minimum trading days in each phase. The General Terms of 7 August 2026 (clause 6.1) leave every evaluation parameter to the Trading Rules the firm publishes. Passing is not automatic: you ask for a review, which typically takes 1 to 2 business days.

One Step Challenge Evaluation Varies

One Step: 5 minimum trading days. The General Terms of 7 August 2026 (clause 6.1) leave every evaluation parameter to the Trading Rules the firm publishes. Passing is not automatic: you ask for a review, which typically takes 1 to 2 business days.

Overnight weekend holding
Two Step Challenge, One Step Challenge Evaluation · Funded Varies

Overnight and weekend holds are allowed.

Profit target 2
One Step Challenge Evaluation Varies

One Step: 10% target. The General Terms of 7 August 2026 (clause 6.1) leave every evaluation parameter to the Trading Rules the firm publishes.

Two Step Challenge Evaluation Varies

Two Step: 10% in the Challenge, 5% in the Verification. The General Terms of 7 August 2026 (clause 6.1) leave every evaluation parameter to the Trading Rules the firm publishes.

Prohibited practices 2
Two Step Challenge, One Step Challenge Evaluation Varies

The two undefined discretionary standards in the March version of the Terms are largely gone. March 5.4.1(g), trading 'in contradiction with how trading is actually performed in the futures market', has been dropped, which also removes a futures reference that made no sense in a crypto-only product. March 5.4.3, 'without applying market standard risk management rules', is replaced by 10.5, which sets out named indicators, states explicitly that they are 'indicators, not automatic breaches', and routes them to proportionate measures under 10.6 rather than to failure. One open-ended standard remains at 10.2(g). The three mechanical Bybit traps from the March version, TP/SL-only stop losses, API key expiry as automatic failure, and the Portfolio Margin ban, do not appear in the new Terms and may have moved to the separate Trading Rules.

Two Step Challenge, One Step Challenge Evaluation Varies

A graduated-sanction regime materially wider than the March version's single option of reducing leverage to 1:5. Clause 10.6 requires any measure to be proportionate to the behavior, requires the firm to notify the trader of the measure and the behavior it relates to, and states that a measure is not a finding of breach and does not of itself fail a Challenge or forfeit a reward. Where the usual response at other firms is account closure plus profit forfeiture, this is the most developed proportionality framework we have read. The published rules add: no single day over 40% of the net result in evaluation; no single position may lose more than 3% of initial balance; funded accounts cap margin at 25% and open notional at 2x initial balance.

Time limit 2
One Step Challenge Evaluation Varies

One Step: no time limit. The General Terms of 7 August 2026 (clause 6.1) leave every evaluation parameter to the Trading Rules the firm publishes.

Two Step Challenge Evaluation Varies

Two Step: no time limit. The General Terms of 7 August 2026 (clause 6.1) leave every evaluation parameter to the Trading Rules the firm publishes.

Every country restriction on record

HyroTrader does not open funded accounts for residents of at least these 28 jurisdictions, per the firm's own terms. This is not the whole list: the firm publishes further restrictions for some of its products that our record does not yet hold, so a country missing here is not a country that is allowed.
