Crypto prop firm challenges: what each evaluation costs

Because that is the currency the firm uses for the trading capital, and this page shows each figure as the firm displays it, without converting. HyroTrader sizes its accounts in USDT while its checkout shows the fee in US dollars, and its terms say the fee is actually charged in euros at the firm’s own conversion rate. Read the account size and the fee as two separate figures, each in its own currency.

Not on every route, because some firms charge a second fee after you pass. Crypto Fund Trader’s Break evaluation costs $70, $140 or $200, then asks $138, $198 or $328 to activate the funded stage, so a $100,000 Break account comes to $528 in total. Upgrades add more: Breakout’s 90/10 split adds 20% to the fee and can only be bought with the account, and HyroTrader sells an optional swing drawdown upgrade on top of its fee.

You can pay more at the same account size, and on some routes you start on a smaller share of the profit. Crypto Fund Trader charges $240 for a $5,000 Instant account against $40 for its $5,000 1-Phase evaluation, and its Instant split starts at 50%, reaching 90% only as the balance doubles through its scaling steps. For Traders pays 70% on its crypto Instant account against 80% on its crypto Fast challenge.

On Crypto Fund Trader you bring your own Bybit account, pay Bybit’s own fees and carry responsibility for whether Bybit serves your country. You also trade only USDT futures and derivatives there, because spot or options trading on Bybit ends the evaluation at once.

Not by default, and the terms differ sharply between firms. Breakout’s evaluation fees are non-refundable and a breached evaluation cannot be reset, while Crypto Fund Trader gives you 14 days to withdraw from a purchase but ends that right once you open a position. HyroTrader treats the fee as a deposit: it comes back in full with your first successful funded payout, or if you cancel before activating the challenge, and is kept if you miss the objectives or break a rule.

Only up to a cap set per trader, so buying extra challenges does not lift it. Breakout caps funded capital at $200,000 across all your accounts combined, and Crypto Fund Trader caps final stage accounts at $300,000 per trader, with Instant and Break accounts on separate limits of their own. HyroTrader’s funded ceiling is $200,000, which its scaling plan can raise to $1,000,000 once you reach 20% total profit with a positive balance.
