The short answer
Trade The Pool sells US stock evaluations through Five Percent Online Ltd, the Israeli company behind The5ers. Once your profit, including open profit, reaches three times the Daily Pause, your maximum loss moves up to the starting balance for good, so giving back a gain can end the account. Its terms let it forfeit profits for “disparaging” statements on review sites, and cancel accounts if a video interview is not held within 5 business days. Residents found in a restricted country at any stage lose their fees and profits.
How it works
Trade The Pool sells Day Trade and Swing plans in FLEX and MAX versions. The table shows the rules for each.
| Plan | Profit target | Daily Pause | Max Loss | Time limit |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Day Trade FLEX | 6% | 2% | 4% | None |
| Day Trade MAX | 6% | 1% | 3% | 60 days |
| Swing FLEX | 15% | 3% | 7% | None |
| Swing MAX | 15% | 3% | 7% | 100 days |
- Day Trade accounts run from $5,000 to $200,000 of buying power, and Swing accounts from $2,000 to $40,000. The two ladders share no size.
- The Daily Pause closes all positions and blocks new trades until the next trading day. It is measured on live equity against the day’s starting balance.
- Day Trade positions are liquidated at 15:50 ET each day, and overnight buying power drops to 16% of the account. Swing accounts may hold overnight and at weekends.
- Every trade must last at least 30 seconds and move at least 10 cents per share, or it does not count.
- Consistency rules cap your best position at 50% of the target on FLEX and 30% on MAX. The MAX cap applies to the evaluation only, and on Swing MAX it becomes 70% once the account is funded.
The consistency caps come with minimum position counts. On Day Trade FLEX, your best position may be at most 50% of the profit target across at least 10 closed positions, and on Day Trade MAX at most 30% across at least 20. Swing plans need at least 5 closed positions. When you ask for a withdrawal, FLEX accounts on both plans apply a 50% cash-out consistency check and Swing MAX applies 70%, while Day Trade MAX applies none.
What it costs
Prices for each plan and size are in the price box on this page. Five things the box cannot show:
- MAX costs less than FLEX at the same size, in exchange for tighter limits and a deadline.
- Refunds depend on timing: a full refund within 5 days if you have not traded or breached the Terms, Hub credit only after that, and nothing once you start.
- Withdrawals may carry a processing fee, which the terms do not quantify.
- Real-time market data is free, and there is no platform fee.
- Commission is half a cent per share, with a minimum of $0.75 per filled order.
Trade The Pool also offers a free demo, which it also calls a free trial: up to one Day Trading and one Swing Trading demo per user, each lasting two weeks from the day it is opened, for exploring the charts, symbols and platform features before you start an evaluation. The firm does not say that a demo can lead to funding, and it plays no part in the grade.
Platforms and trading conditions
Trade The Pool runs every account on TraderEvolution, with desktop, web and mobile versions, though the desktop app does not run on Mac.
- You can trade more than 12,000 US stocks and ETFs, including penny stocks and short sales, but no futures or options.
- Trading runs 24 hours a day, 5 days a week, with overnight trades routed through Blue Ocean on about 3,500 symbols.
- Earnings are handled by the firm, dividends and splits by you. Trade The Pool disables a ticker at the end of the trading day before earnings are released, while the Program Terms require the trader to close positions before a stock trades ex-dividend or splits.
- Opening volume is capped at 5% of the previous one-minute candle.
- The pattern day trader rule does not apply.
Two trading limits are easy to miss. If you trade the overnight session on a Day Trade account, your buying power drops to 16% of the account, which is $800 on a $5,000 account and $32,000 on a $200,000 one. The Program Terms allow copy trading between two of your own accounts in set size pairs, and not with third-party copiers, but the Terms list trade coordination or copy trading with other traders or accounts among the trading rules that are grounds for termination for cause, and the Terms prevail where the two documents are inconsistent. Earnings-linked ETFs are also restricted.
The rules that matter
Trade The Pool publishes its rules in detail. Four rules in its program terms and Terms decide what a trader keeps.
How the loss floor ratchets on a $100,000 Day Trade FLEX account
Your floor starts at $96,000 and the Daily Pause is $2,000. When equity, including open profit, reaches $106,000, the floor moves to $100,000 at once and never moves back. If the trade then falls back to $100,000, the account is terminated. Withdrawing before the trigger avoids the move. The Program Terms are inconsistent about where the floor sits after a scale-up, but they say the same move happens again once new profit reaches three times the Daily Pause.
Statements about the firm can cost you your profits
The Terms list “defamatory, disparaging, or harmful statements” about the company on review sites, forums or social media as grounds for termination. Publishing support tickets or emails with the firm without its authorization counts too. The account ends without a refund of fees, and accrued profits are forfeited.
The Termination for Cause clause covers your correspondence with the firm as well as your opinion of it:
“You make any defamatory, disparaging, or harmful statements about the Company, its employees, or the Services on any public platform, including but not limited to social media networks, public groups, forums, or review sites. This includes a strict prohibition on the unauthorized disclosure, sharing, or publication of any internal correspondence, support tickets, or private communications between You and the Company (including, without limitation, emails, chat logs, or messages with our Support, Risk, Tech, or Compliance teams) on any social media or public platform. Violation of this clause constitutes a fundamental breach of these Terms, granting the Company the right to immediately terminate Your Account(s) and block Your access to the Services without any refund of fees paid (including Evaluation fees), and any accrued profits or Reward Balance shall be immediately forfeited.”
A 5-day interview deadline
Trade The Pool may request a video interview during verification. It must be scheduled and completed within 5 business days, or pending payouts are denied and every account is canceled.
It is listed as a cause of termination in its own right:
“You fail to schedule a mandatory video interview within five (5) business days of the Company’s request as part of the User Verification Process.”
Residence checked after you pay
The Terms say that if it is discovered “at any stage”, including after identity checks, that you live in a restricted country, the account is closed, fees are not refunded and all accrued profits are forfeited. Identity checks happen after you pass the evaluation.
The clause is explicit that the discovery can come after the KYC process, and about what is lost when it does:
“If, at any stage (including during or after the KYC process), it is discovered that you have violated the prohibition against circumvention or are a resident of a forbidden/sanctioned territory, the Company is entitled to close your account immediately. In the event of termination due to this breach, you are not entitled to any financial refund for fees paid (including Evaluation fees). Any accrued balance of profits or rewards shall be canceled and forfeited, and you waive any future claim against the Company regarding this termination.”
What Trade The Pool says
Getting paid
Trade The Pool pays 70% of profit on funded accounts. The rules are:
- You can withdraw 14 days after the account opens or after your last withdrawal, with at least $300 of profit, or $150 on a $5,000 account.
- FLEX accounts need 3 days of at least 0.5% profit in any 14-day period to withdraw.
- Payouts go by wire, crypto, card or Hub credit, usually in 3 to 5 business days.
- Each 10% of profit scales the account. Your share is carried into the new account as credits that absorb losses first and are not restored by later gains.
- After a scale-up, you wait another 14 days to withdraw profit carried over.
- A large payout can arrive in weekly installments of no more than $10,000 each. The Terms let the firm split any approved payout above a Payout Threshold that it sets at its own discretion and does not publish.
Scaling changes more than the account size. Each 10% of valid profit on a funded account triggers a scale-up and raises the Daily Pause by 10%, and FLEX accounts also need 3 days of at least 0.5% profit before they scale. On a $100,000 account, $10,000 of valid profit triggers a scale-up, and your 70% share, $7,000, moves to the new account as credits that absorb its first losses. At the $300 minimum, your 70% share of new profit is $210.
What can end your account
These rules can end a Trade The Pool account. Each comes from its own program terms and Terms:
- Falling below Max Loss, including after the ratchet moves it to the starting balance.
- Missing the 5-day interview deadline.
- Living in a restricted country, discovered at any stage.
- Disparaging statements about the firm on public platforms.
- Fourteen days of inactivity, which applies to a funded MAX account and to a FLEX account at both stages. A MAX account in evaluation has no inactivity timeout.
Who can join
Trade The Pool’s Terms list 31 places where its services are not available:
- The list includes Russia, Belarus, Iran, Iraq, Venezuela, Lebanon and Myanmar.
- Israel is on the list, although the company is registered there.
- The list is “not limited to” the places named.
- Identity checks come after your first evaluation target, or once you hold five or more evaluation accounts and no funded account.
Identity checks can also be requested at any time, beyond the two triggers above. Residence in a listed place costs fees and profits whenever it is found, so read the full list before you buy, and remember that the firm does not treat it as complete.

Why this grade
Two terms cap Trade The Pool one step down: one lets it reclaim every reward if you publish your emails with it, the other cancels accrued profit for public criticism. A steep stock-plan target adds to that; payouts and support remain to be tested.
| Part and score | The reason |
|---|---|
| Rule fairness (20% of the grade) 34/100 · Weak | Funded payouts need the firm's approval on unstated criteria, publishing your emails with it can mean repaying every reward, one of two terms capping the grade, and the funded program can be swapped after you pass. |
| Trading conditions (20% of the grade) 59/100 · Fair | The typical stock plan asks for a profit target about twice its maximum loss, trades on a single platform and applies a consistency rule, though the loss floor only moves up to lock at your starting balance. |
| Company trust (15% of the grade) 68/100 · Fair | Criticizing the firm on a review site or forum is a fundamental breach that cancels accrued profit, the second term capping the grade, and your recorded verification interview may be published as promotion. |
| Challenge value (15% of the grade) 78/100 · Good | The cheapest route is the $25,000 Day Trade MAX at $97, or $3.88 per $1,000 of funded capital. |
| Payout reliability (25% of the grade) Not scored | No Trade The Pool payout has been taken from purchase through to the bank, and no public payout records for it are held yet, so this factor is not scored. |
| Support (5% of the grade) Not scored | Trade The Pool's support desk has not been sent a test question; support testing has not started on any firm. |

Our verdict
Trade The Pool offers a stock-focused program with 24-hour trading and a free demo, but a loss floor that locks on open profit, a clause against disparaging reviews and forfeiture for residence found late limit what a trader can count on.
Best for
- US stock and ETF traders who want pre-market, after-hours and overnight access.
- Swing traders who want to hold over weekends.
- Traders who will test the platform on the free demo first.
Avoid if
- You let open profits run and then give them back.
- You want to be free to review the firm honestly.
- You cannot guarantee a video interview within 5 business days.
