The short answer

Blue Guardian runs two catalogs, and the figures at the top of this page cover both. A CFD challenge lists at $32 to $2,200 depending on program and size. A futures plan lists at $64 to $824. The two sides share a name and very little else, so read only the half you are buying.

To pass a CFD challenge you need the profit target and the program minimums. On futures the cheaper Reserve setup carries a daily loss limit, $1,700 at $100,000, and the dearer one has none, which is the clearest example of how the price here buys a rule rather than a discount.

Once funded you keep 80% to 90% on the CFD side. The minimum payout is $100 by crypto or $500 by bank transfer, and Blue Guardian says payouts are processed within 24 business hours. Every CFD payout loses a 3% fee.

The thing to check before you buy is that some rules only start once you pass. Funded CFD accounts restrict news trading, and futures Standard adds a consistency rule that does not apply during the test.

How it works

Blue Guardian runs two catalogs that share a name and little else. The CFD programs are priced and limited in percentages of the account, the futures programs in dollars, and each side has its own platforms and payout rules. The two sections below set out each catalog program by program.

CFD programs

Blue Guardian sells three main CFD programs. They differ on how you qualify, how the loss limit moves and what you may trade once funded. The figures are percentages of the account balance.

Time limitNoneNoneNone

Blue Guardian also sells cheaper Nano versions of the evaluation programs, a one-time $5,000 Instant Starter account and older legacy programs. This review covers the three main programs above.

Futures programs

Blue Guardian sells four futures programs. Each puts its hardest rule at a different stage, which is what separates them. The figures below are for a $100,000 account.

StandardReserveExpressDirect
Test to pass$6,000 target$6,000 target$6,000 targetNone, funded straight away
Consistency in the testNone40% or 50%, your choice40% or 50%, your choiceNo test

Overall loss limit in the test$3,500, trails end of day$3,000, trails end of day$3,000, trails end of dayNo test
Once fundedSame limits, plus a 40% consistency ruleSame limits, no consistency rule$1,250 daily and $2,500 overall, no consistency rule$2,500 daily and $3,500 overall, end of day; consistency 20%, then 25%, then 30% with each payout

All four futures plans pay a 90% split and allow news trading. Every dollar limit in the table changes with account size, while the consistency percentages hold at the same rate at every size: on a $150,000 Standard account, for example, the target is $9,000, the overall limit $5,000 and the daily limit $3,000, and a $25,000 Standard account has no daily limit. At $100,000, positions are capped at 8 minis or 80 micros.

How much does Blue Guardian cost?

Prices below are list prices. Blue Guardian runs a promotion most of the time and shows the discounted figure beside the list one, so treat the list price as the real price and save the order summary when you buy. The CFD catalog:

Account2 Step Standard1 Step StandardInstant
$5,000$32$40$72
$10,000$75$66$100
$25,000$154$134$208
$50,000$232$200$324
$100,000$463$398$623
$200,000$930$736$954
$300,000Not soldNot sold$1,712
$400,000Not soldNot sold$2,200

The 1 Step costs less than the 2 Step at every size above $5,000, and more at $5,000 itself. There is also an Instant Starter, sold at $5,000 only, for $14.67 at checkout. It buys one payout, capped at $250, and it can be bought once per trader.

The futures catalog uses its own sizes, and its four plans are sold as five priced setups because Reserve comes two ways:

AccountReserve, with daily limitReserve, no daily limitExpressStandardDirect
$25,000$64$110$119$154$307
$50,000$100$154$179$209$494
$100,000$148$248$283$330$659
$150,000$296$398$440$424$824

Two things in that table are worth a second look. The two Reserve columns are the same plan, and the cheaper one is the one that adds a daily loss limit, which runs $600, $1,200, $1,700 and $3,000 as the account size rises, so the extra money buys the removal of a rule. And Standard is dearer than Express at every size except $150,000, where the order flips.

Five more costs sit outside both tables:

  • On futures Reserve, a lower price can mean an extra rule. The daily loss limit option is the cheaper setup at every size, and no limit costs more. That is a trade, not a discount.
  • Instant and Direct charge for a funded account, not a test, so their prices are not comparable with the evaluation programs.
  • Blue Guardian’s own pages disagree on refunds. Its refund policy says no refunds “under any circumstances” once login details are emailed. Its help center says the evaluation fee is refunded after your fourth payout, for accounts bought from 21 January 2026. Get the answer in writing before paying.

The Refund Policy closes the window at the moment the account is delivered:

Once a purchase has been made and the evaluation credentials have been emailed to the customer, no refunds under any circumstances will be accepted. Customers have the ability to “try before you buy” as noted above and can clearly have a full experience and know what to expect prior to purchasing a trading challenge.

The window closes when the credentials are emailed, so it is the delivery that ends it rather than any period of time. And the “try before you buy” the clause leans on is never set out: the phrase points back to something “noted above” that is not above it, and nothing in the Refund Policy, the Evaluation Terms or the Privacy Policy describes a trial of any kind. A buyer is told they have already had their chance to try the product, without being told what that chance was.

  • Every CFD payout loses a 3% processing fee.
  • Reset prices are not listed in Blue Guardian’s program rules.

Platforms and trading conditions

Blue Guardian lists seven platforms, but no buyer gets all seven. The CFD and futures sides use different ones:

The rules that matter

The rule that matters most at Blue Guardian is not the one you pass under. On both sides of the catalog, a rule can appear or tighten after you qualify. The two sections below show how that works on CFDs and on futures.

CFDs: passing can tighten the account

On 1 Step Standard, leverage halves from 1:100 to 1:50 once you are funded. On every funded CFD account, you may not open or close trades in the 5 minutes before and after high-impact news. The restriction appears only once you are funded, so a strategy built around announcements can pass the test and then be shut out of the events it was built for.

The overall loss limit is also different by program. On a $100,000 account:

1 Step Standard2 Step Standard
Profit to pass$9,000$8,000, then $4,000
Overall loss limit$6,000, trailing$8,000, static
Daily loss limit$4,000$4,000

The one-step program asks for more profit against less room, and its limit moves. A trader who closes a day $4,000 up has not banked $4,000 of safety on 1 Step, because the trailing line moves up with the account. On 2 Step the line stays where it started. Blue Guardian does not say what the trailing line follows (balance, equity or an intraday high), so ask before sizing positions.

Futures: a rule can appear after passing

Futures Standard has no consistency rule in the test and a 40% rule once funded. Reserve and Express do the reverse: a consistency rule in the test, none once funded. Direct has no test but raises its consistency rule with each payout.

Express tightens after you pass: its daily limit drops from $1,500 to $1,250 and its overall limit from $3,000 to $2,500. Standard’s daily loss limit is labeled a “soft breach”, and Blue Guardian does not define what that means, so do not assume it is only a warning.

Getting paid: how does Blue Guardian pay out?

You keep 80% to 90% on the CFD side, depending on the program and whether you buy the add-on. The minimum payout is $100 by crypto or $500 by bank transfer through Rise, and crypto is only available below $5,000. Blue Guardian says payouts are processed within 24 business hours, and that an eligible payout running late earns an extra 10% on your share.

How often you can ask is what really differs between the programs, and the two tables below set it out. Every CFD payout loses a 3% fee, your account has to be flat when you ask, and it stays read-only until the payout is approved.

CFD programProfit splitHow often you can ask
Instant Standard80%, or 90% with an add-onOn demand, once the minimum days and 20% consistency rule are met
1 Step Standard85%, or 90% with an add-onAfter 14 calendar days from your first trade, then every 14 days. A 7-day add-on halves both
2 Step Standard85%, or 90% with an add-onAfter 14 calendar days from your first trade, then every 14 days. A 7-day add-on halves both
  • Processing: Blue Guardian states 24 business hours. It says an eligible payout that runs late earns an extra 10% profit share, except over weekends, holidays or during reviews.
  • Your account must be flat, with no open trades, when you ask, and it is read-only until the payout is approved.
  • On $200,000 to $400,000 accounts, the first two payouts are capped at $10,000 each.
  • The late-payout guarantee does not say which accounts it covers. Rise onboarding delays, and anything still waiting on your own documents, also pause its clock.

The futures plans set their own payout terms on each plan card:

Futures plan, $100,000Payout terms on the plan card
StandardFirst payout capped at $3,000, then $3,500 each
ReserveAt most $2,500 per payout, with a $200 eligibility threshold
ExpressUp to $1,500 a day, with a $1,000 daily minimum, once the balance clears $102,600
Direct$6,000 of profit before the first payout, then $3,500 before each one after

What can end your account

These rules can end a Blue Guardian CFD account or cost you its profits. Each comes from the firm’s CFD help center:

  • Breaching the overall or daily loss limit. On CFDs that is 6% trailing or 8% static overall, and 3% or 4% daily.
  • Closing trades in under 2 minutes. Blue Guardian treats it as tick scalping.
  • Using more than 80% of your margin in open trades, which it calls gambling. It can reject the payout, remove profit or end the account.
  • Triggering the Guardian Shield. On funded accounts, trades close automatically at a 1% floating loss on Instant and 2% on the evaluation programs. On Instant accounts, the first trigger cuts your split to 50% for good and the second ends the account.
  • Hedging between separate accounts, or trading from a device or VPS shared with other accounts.
  • Changing your account password, which Blue Guardian does not allow.
  • Not trading for 30 days. The account is breached, counted from when it was created.

Blue Guardian says not every breach is caught automatically, and some are found only in a manual review when you ask for a payout. The futures plans allow news trading; their other conduct rules are not set out on the plan cards, so check the terms before trading them.

Who can join

On its CFD programs, Blue Guardian does not accept traders under 18, or residents of Afghanistan, Albania, Algeria, Cuba, Iran, Jordan, Libya, Myanmar, North Korea, the Philippines, Senegal, Syria and Vietnam.

Its funded accounts are simulated, and on the CFD programs KYC is required before your first payout.

Who you are dealing with

Blue Guardian’s own pages name four companies. The Terms and the Refund Policy name Iconic Exchange FZCO, while the Privacy Policy names a differently formed company, Iconic Exchange Limited. The table shows each name and where it appears.

CompanyWhereNamed in
Iconic Exchange FZCODubaiThe Terms, the Refund Policy and the footer
Iconic Exchange LimitedNot statedThe Privacy Policy
Blue Guardian LimitedGros-Islet, Saint LuciaThe site footer
Blue Guardian Marketing LLCDubaiThe footer, labeled non-operational

The three documents a buyer signs do not agree on which company they are signing with:

[Terms] are comprised of various web pages operated by Iconic Exchange FZCO t/a Blue Guardian. […] [Privacy Policy] Iconic Exchange Limited t/a Blue Guardian (“BLUE GUARDIAN”) respects your privacy […] […] [Refund Policy] In this Refund Policy, “us,” “our,” and “we” shall mean ICONIC EXCHANGE FZCO t/a BLUE GUARDIAN (“Blue Guardian”)

An FZCO and a Limited are differently constituted companies. Neither is given a registration number anywhere on the site, so a trader with a claim has no way to identify from the documents which company it lies against.

  • The legal pages give no registration number, and no address labeled as registered.
  • A free-zone company (FZCO) is a type of company, not a financial license.
  • Disputes go to binding arbitration seated in Dubai, before a single arbitrator under the International Centre for Dispute Resolution’s rules, and the Terms waive class actions. A claim starts with a notice sent by certified mail to Iconic Exchange FZCO. The courts of Dubai take only what arbitration does not resolve, and the Terms say arbitration may not apply to consumers in the EU or the UK.
  • The funded accounts are simulated.

Why this grade

Blue Guardian is cheap to enter and its trading rules are reasonable. The points it loses come from who you would be dealing with if something went wrong.

Two companies appear in its paperwork, constituted differently, and neither carries a registration number anywhere on the site. If you had a claim, you could not tell from its own pages which company you were bringing it against.

The refund is the other thing. There is a refund window on paper, and it closes the moment the firm emails your login details, which on a normal purchase is minutes after you pay. Its help center and its Refund Policy page also disagree about whether the fee comes back after your fourth payout.

Which of its two companies would actually pay you is the open question, and no withdrawal has yet answered it. Its support desk sits behind the same uncertainty.

Blue Guardian’s grade draws its evidence from its forex accounts. Its futures products have not yet contributed to the grade.

AI summary

Blue Guardian · what the record shows before you start

6 of 6

From the facts we hold for Blue Guardian: the published profit split reaches 90%, payouts are requestable on demand, entry starts at $15, 79 trading rules are on record. This summary is assembled from the canonical record, not from the firm's marketing.

Read the full summary

The current grade is B+ (preliminary) under methodology firm-grade-v1.1.0. Preliminary means the letter rests on what we have read so far and no payout has been tested yet, so it can move as verification completes.

Accurate?

Our verdict

Blue Guardian offers real choice across CFDs and futures, but the rules you trade under once funded are often stricter than the ones you pass under, and the company that owes your payout is not settled in its own documents.

Best for

  • Traders who know whether they want CFDs or futures before they arrive.
  • Traders who will read the funded-stage rules, not just the test rules.
  • CFD traders who want a static loss limit: 2 Step Standard keeps its line where it started.

Avoid if

  • You trade the news. Funded CFD accounts are restricted for 5 minutes either side of high-impact news.
  • You need the rules you pass under to stay the same after you pass.
  • You want every legal page to name the same company, with a registration number.

Questions traders ask

Which company am I contracting with?

Iconic Exchange FZCO, trading as Blue Guardian, a Dubai company. The Terms and the Refund Policy name it as the company you deal with, and the site footer names it alongside Blue Guardian Limited in Saint Lucia. The Privacy Policy names a differently formed company, Iconic Exchange Limited, and none of these pages gives a registration number for any of them.

Is this real trading?

No. The firm records the execution environment as simulated, so the balance traded is not a live brokerage account.

How would a payout reach me?

By crypto or by bank transfer through Rise. The minimum is $100 by crypto or $500 by bank, crypto only works under $5,000, and a 3% processing fee comes off every CFD payout.

Do the rules change once I pass?

On the CFD side, yes. Permissions tighten after qualification, including a funded-stage news restriction, and on futures Standard a consistency requirement appears only once funded. Read the rules for the stage you will be trading in, not the one you are buying.

Which platforms are available?

Seven in total. Five serve the CFD programs, including MetaTrader 5, Match-Trader, TradeLocker, TradingView and Deepcharts, and two serve futures, NinjaTrader and Tradovate.

Is the firm regulated?

No regulatory permission is recorded. A free-zone company registration is a corporate form, not financial-services supervision, and the reviewed legal pages carry no registration number and no address labeled as registered.

Facts checked: 17 August to 17 September 2026. No payout independently verified.

Prohibited practices
CFD: Instant, CFD: 1 Step Standard, CFD: 2 Step Standard Evaluation · Funded Varies

Minimum holding time of 2 minutes (no tick scalping). No hedging between separate accounts, no high-frequency or arbitrage bots, no trading on a delayed price feed, no shared devices, and no changing the account password. Margin use above 80% on running trades counts as gambling and can cost a trader the payout, the profits or the account. A false identity, a payout name that does not match, several accounts opened to work a promotion, or a card chargeback all lead to a permanent blacklist. The firm says not every breach is caught automatically and that some are found during a manual review at payout.
