The short answer
Orion Funded sells forex and CFD evaluations and instant accounts, under terms issued by ORION GLOBAL FZCO, a Dubai company, and the United Arab Emirates, where that company sits, is on its own restricted list. The funded contract is offered by a “third-party entity” the terms do not name. In its favor, the help center is detailed, the published terms return the program fee with the fourth payout, and they promise a full cycle payment and a fee return when an approved reward is not processed within 48 hours.
How it works
Orion Funded sells five programs that differ in steps and loss room. The table shows the rules for each.
| Program | Before funding | Profit target | Daily loss | Maximum loss |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Orion Zero | None | None | 3% | 6%, Trailing Lock |
| Orion Nova | 1 step | 4% | 4%, then 3% funded | 8%, then 5% funded, Trailing Lock |
| Orion Standard | 2 steps | 6%, then 6% | 3% | 6%, static |
| Orion Swing | 2 steps | 8%, then 5% | 5% | 8%, static |
| Orion Select | 3 steps | 5% in each step | 5% | 5%, static |
- The daily limit is measured on equity from the greater of the previous day’s closing balance or equity, and resets at midnight UTC.
- Trailing Lock follows your balance up and locks at the funded starting balance once your first payout is approved.
- Standard, Swing and Select need 4 trading days in the evaluation. Zero and Nova have no minimum, and no program has a time limit.
- Profit targets count closed profit only, and you must be flat when a phase is checked.
- Nova is Pay After You Pass: a 7-dollar registration fee, then an activation fee once you pass. The activation amount is not published in Orion’s help center or in its terms, so the full cost of this route cannot be worked out before you buy. The terms give you thirty days from passing to pay it, and say that if it is not paid in time the result and any offer attached to it expire.
How much does Orion Funded cost?
Prices for each program and size are in the price box on this page. Four things the box cannot show:
- The program fee is refunded in full with your fourth successful payout, on every program.
- You can withdraw within 14 days for a refund, but only before your first trade.
- Commission is $4 a lot on forex, metals and commodities, and nothing on indices, stocks and crypto.
- Swaps are charged overnight and count toward the daily loss limit. Swap-free accounts are not standard.
A chargeback without valid grounds is treated as a material breach.
How you pay changes the total. Orion takes cards, PayPal and crypto in BTC, ETH or USDT, and a crypto payment carries a 3% processing fee on top of the price. Card and PayPal checkouts show no such charge. On a $700 order, paying in crypto costs $21 more.
Platforms and trading conditions
Orion Funded offers MetaTrader 5 and Match-Trader on every program.
- Leverage is 1:100 on forex for Zero, Nova and Standard, and 1:30 on Swing and Select. Stocks and crypto are 1:1.
- Overnight and weekend holds are allowed on every program under the terms and the help center, but opening trades to catch a price gap is banned.
- Evaluations have no news timing window, though Orion bans news trading as a strategy. Funded Nova, Standard and Select accounts cannot open, close or modify trades 2 minutes either side of high-impact news. Swing has no restriction, and Zero pays 50% on trades within 5 minutes of news.
- Expert advisors are allowed for risk management only. The terms permit automation for stop loss, take profit, break-even, trailing stop and partial close orders, position sizing, drawdown protection and exposure management, and prohibit any automation that generates trading signals, replicates trades or trades on your behalf. The help center separately bans EAs that send more than 2,000 server requests a day.
- All accounts are simulated, using real market prices.
The rules that matter
Orion Funded publishes its trading rules in detail. Four terms decide who a trader is dealing with and what they keep.
The terms name a Dubai company
The terms Orion links today, version 3.01 dated 16 September 2026, name ORION GLOBAL FZCO of Dubai, under UAE law. The website used to link an earlier version, dated 22 March 2026, that named OGM International Ltd of Saint Lucia under Saint Lucia law. That version is no longer linked, and the current terms do not mention the Saint Lucia company.
The current terms open by naming the Dubai company:
We are ORION GLOBAL FZCO, a company established and existing under the laws of the United Arab Emirates, with its registered office at Building A1, Dubai Digital Park, Dubai Silicon Oasis, Dubai, United Arab Emirates (“we”, “us”, “our” or the “Provider”).
The same document then creates a problem of its own. Clause 1.2 lists who may not buy, and clauses 22.1 and 22.2 say where a dispute goes:
Restricted Jurisdictions include United Arab Emirates, Bangladesh, North Korea, Syria, American Samoa, Grenada, Chad, Belize, Antigua and Barbuda, Indonesia, Cape Verde, Tuvalu, Bouvet Island, Burundi, Cook Islands, Eritrea, Vietnam, Comoros, Fiji, Iran, Afghanistan, Cuba, Sudan, or any other country subject to international sanctions or other regulatory restrictions. […] The Agreement […] are governed by the laws of the United Arab Emirates. […] Any dispute […] shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of the United Arab Emirates, according to the registered office of the Provider.
The United Arab Emirates is the first entry on the restricted list, and its courts are the ones the terms choose for any dispute. So the one country whose courts the contract names is also a country the terms bar customers from. Clause 22.3 adds that consumers keep the protection of mandatory laws in the UAE or any other jurisdiction that applies.
The funded contract is with an unnamed party
After you pass, Orion “will inform the applicable third-party entity which may offer you a contract” for the Orion Trader Program. The terms say rewards are governed by that agreement, and neither the terms nor the help center name the entity.
Reviews are protected, but payouts can be withheld
The terms protect “truthful, accurate and good-faith statements” and genuine reviews. They also let Orion “withhold or void payouts” for statements it treats as false, malicious or in bad faith, and they make support tickets, chats and payout reviews confidential.
Clause 20 sets out what counts as prohibited conduct, and what Orion may do about it:
“The Customer shall not make, publish or disseminate… any statement or content that is false, misleading, defamatory, malicious or made in bad faith concerning the Provider… Prohibited conduct includes, without limitation: review bombing or the posting of mass or repeated negative reviews; participating in or organizing coordinated campaigns intended to harm the Provider… [20.3] In such event, the Provider may, at its sole discretion and without prior notice, suspend or terminate any or all Agreements and accounts, withhold or void payouts, and pursue any other remedy available at law.”
Clause 19 then makes the record of a dispute confidential. Support tickets, payout reviews and the reasoning behind a decision are all covered, so publishing them needs Orion’s prior written consent, except where the information is already public or the disclosure is required by law, regulation or an authority:
“Confidential Information includes, without limitation: emails, support tickets, chat and messaging conversations, telephone and video calls and any recordings or transcripts thereof; screenshots; risk reviews and payout reviews; audit findings; internal decisions and the reasoning behind them […] the criteria and methodology applied to approve or reject evaluations, payouts, accounts or requests […] The Customer shall […] not disclose, publish, post, share or otherwise make available any Confidential Information to any third party, including on social media, public forums, messaging groups or review platforms, without the Provider’s prior written consent […]”
What a reward looks like on a $100,000 Orion Zero account
Make $5,000 and the first $3,000 is a safety cushion you cannot withdraw. You may request 80% of the other $2,000, or $1,600, once your best day is no more than 20% of the cycle’s profit. After the first payout, your loss floor locks at $100,000.
What Orion Funded says
Right of reply: window closed, no answer. Two findings drawn from Orion Funded’s own General Terms were sent to the firm as critical on 6 September 2026, and neither had been answered by 20 September. If Orion Funded replies, the reply will be set out here word for word.
Getting paid: how does Orion Funded pay out?
Orion Funded’s published reward split is 80% of simulated profit, rising to 90% after scaling once the account qualifies. Those are the terms as written; no payout by this firm has been independently verified. The rules are:
- Rewards run on a 14-day cycle, with no wait before the first request. Trading pauses while a request is reviewed.
On Orion Zero and Orion Nova a slice of the profit is not reward-eligible at all, and the firm explains why:
On Orion Zero and Orion Nova funded accounts, the first 3% of profit isn’t eligible for a reward request. It acts as a buffer that helps prevent the daily loss limit from being triggered while a reward is being processed.
So the first 3% is working capital for the firm’s own risk control rather than profit you can ask for, and on those two programs it comes off the top of everything you make.
- Zero and Nova funded accounts hold back the first 3% of profit and apply a 20% best day rule.
- Payouts go through Rise or other methods shown in the Client Section.
- If an approved reward is not processed within 48 hours, you can claim 100% of that cycle’s reward and a fee refund, with exclusions for weekends, bank delays and reviews.
- Scaling adds 25% after a 15% return in three months, with two profitable months and three reward requests, up to $4,000,000.
Rewards are sent through Rise Pay, which Orion says works in more than 190 countries and can pay in your local currency or in crypto. Before your first reward you need a Riseworks account, an identity check, and a Nano ID from Rise that you enter in Orion’s Client Section.
What can end your account
These rules can end an Orion Funded account. Each comes from its own help center and terms:
- Touching the daily loss or maximum drawdown limit, including through open losses and swaps.
- 30 days without a trade, on evaluation and funded accounts.
- Not completing identity checks within 30 days of passing, which voids the evaluation.
- Gap trading, cross-account hedging or trading that could not be copied on a live account.
- Account or device sharing, or a residence in a restricted country.
An account with no trade for 30 days expires, and whether you get a replacement is Orion’s decision. Under its terms, if Orion judges a public statement of yours to be false, malicious or made in bad faith, it may suspend or terminate any or all of your agreements and accounts without prior notice, and withhold or void payouts. Truthful, good-faith reviews are protected, but Orion applies that remedy at its sole discretion.
Who can join
Orion Funded restricts access by country and requires identity checks after you pass:
- Restricted countries include the United Arab Emirates, Iran, North Korea, Syria, Cuba, Sudan, Afghanistan, Indonesia, Vietnam and Bangladesh.
- Identity checks need a passport or national ID; a driver’s license is not accepted.
- Companies and self-employed traders may sign, but not trusts or non-profits.
Who you are dealing with
Orion Funded’s current terms name one company for the challenge. The table shows what they state.
| Detail | Terms, version 3.01 |
|---|---|
| Company | ORION GLOBAL FZCO |
| Registered office | Dubai Silicon Oasis, UAE |
| Law and courts | United Arab Emirates |
- Accounts you can hold are capped at $400,000 of starting capital across programs, before any scaling.
- Complaints have a stated deadline. The terms say Orion will try to resolve a complaint as soon as possible and no later than within thirty calendar days, and will confirm receipt and resolution in writing.
Two ceilings apply and they are easy to confuse, because the firm publishes both. One caps what you can buy, the other what you can reach:
Capital allocation limit: The maximum total capital allocation across all your active Orion accounts is $400,000 at any given time (prior to any scaling). This applies across all programs combined.
Once you qualify for the Scaling Plan, your account balance increases beyond this starting point, up to a maximum of $4,000,000 in total allocated capital.
The hinge is the firm’s own phrase, “prior to any scaling”. You cannot purchase your way past $400,000; the $4,000,000 is reached by trading, over the three-month cycles set out under Getting paid. A reader who sees only the smaller figure will underestimate the ceiling, and one who sees only the larger will think they can buy it.
Its Trustpilot profile scored 4.5 across 1,893 reviews on 27 August 2026, with 85% at five stars against 8% at one.
Why this grade
No contract finding counts against Orion Funded’s trading rules, and its cheapest route scores well on value for the capital it funds. Its largest listed contract deduction concerns restrictions on what you may publish, one of which can cost you rewards you have already earned.
Under the first, criticism the firm treats as false, malicious or made in bad faith can cost you rewards you have already earned, and the remedy is at the firm’s sole discretion, although truthful, good-faith reviews are protected. A second clause makes your support tickets, chats and the firm’s reasons for rejecting a payout its confidential information, so publishing them needs Orion’s prior written consent. If a payout were refused, that explanation is precisely the evidence anyone assessing the refusal would want.
Two smaller deductions follow. The terms you accept name ORION GLOBAL FZCO, a Dubai company, with UAE law and UAE courts, while the United Arab Emirates heads Orion’s own restricted list, so a dispute goes to courts in a country where Orion does not take customers. The terms do keep any mandatory consumer protections that apply to you. And an older set of terms, naming OGM International Ltd of Saint Lucia and carrying neither publishing clause, is no longer linked from Orion’s terms page but is still served at its old address, so a trader can read a different company and different protections from the ones they accept.
Trading conditions are scored on the drawdown basis alone, using the worst basis a buyer can be sold. On Orion Zero and Orion Nova that is Orion’s Trailing Lock, and on Orion Zero the floor follows the balance up and locks at the starting balance once the first payout is approved. Payout reliability and support quality are unscored and left out of the calculation rather than counted as zero. The grade stays preliminary while no payout has been verified and Orion’s funded trader agreement is still unreviewed.
Orion Funded · what the record shows before you start
From the facts we hold for Orion Funded: the published profit split reaches 80%, payouts run on a 14-days schedule, entry starts at $49, 27 trading rules are on record. This summary is assembled from the canonical record, not from the firm's marketing.

The current grade is B (preliminary) under methodology firm-grade-v1.1.0. Preliminary means the letter rests on what we have read so far and no payout has been tested yet, so it can move as verification completes.

Our verdict
Orion Funded offers clear, well-documented rules, a fee refund and a 48-hour payout guarantee, but an unnamed funded-stage company and payouts that can be withheld over statements limit what a trader can rely on.
Best for
- Swing traders who want wide limits, weekend holds and no funded news window.
- Traders who want a static loss floor on Standard, Swing or Select.
- Traders who value a published payout guarantee.
Avoid if
- You want to know which company you would sign with once you are funded.
- You live in the United Arab Emirates, Vietnam or Bangladesh.
- You trade high-impact news on a funded Nova, Standard or Select account.
